PENGARUH SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN RUMAH SAKIT DENGAN KINERJA PERAWAT DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM HAJI MEDAN TAHUN 2024
Abstract
Electronic medical records are needed for hospitals to organise vital health services. To record and report all hospital activities, a Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) must be in place. Structural or functional units, such as nursing, are responsible for implementing SIMRS within the hospital organisation. All members of the healthcare team must work together efficiently for hospitals to provide high-quality service.
To determine how Haji General Hospital Medan's Hospital Management Information Systems (system quality, information quality, and service quality) affected nurse performance in 2024, this study used a quantitative research strategy based on a cross-sectional design. All nurses working at Haji General Hospital Medan make up the study population, and 75 participants were chosen using the Slovin formula.
There is a statistically significant relationship between system quality (p=0.005), information quality (p=0.003), and nurse performance, as determined by Chi-square tests. However, there is no significant relationship between service quality and nurse performance (p=0.306). With a p-value of 0.003 and a regression coefficient of 1.124 for information quality, multivariate analysis revealed that in 2024, nurse performance at Haji General Hospital Medan was most affected by this component. As a whole, healthcare service delivery might be improved if Haji General Hospital Medan invested in its infrastructure, especially its IT systems, eval_uated itself frequently, trained its nurses, and recognised their achievements.
