This study aims to determine impact of Stop Work Authority (SWA) implementation on workers' Safety behavior at PT X in 2026. The background of this study is based on the importance of Safety behavior in preventing workplace accidents, where SWA grants workers the authority to stop work whenever unsafe conditions or unsafe actions are identified. This study employed a quantitative research method with a cross-sectional design. Using the total sampling method, all 40 employees of PT X were recruited as respondents in this study. The questionnaire utilized as data collection instrument had previously satisfied both validity and reliability requirements. Subsequently, the data were subjected to bivariate and univariate analytical procedures. In place of the Chi-Square test, Fisher's Exact Test was applied as statistical testing method. The results showed majority of respondents had good SWA implementation, accounting for 26 respondents (65.0%), and good safety behavior, accounting for 29 respondents (72.5%). The results of bivariate analysis showed a p-value of 0.007 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significantly effect of Stop Work Authority (SWA) implementation on workers' safety behavior. Respondents with good SWA implementation tended to demonstrate better Safety behavior (88.5%) compared to respondents with poor SWA implementation. The study concludes that SWA implementation plays an important role in improving workers' safety compliance and participation in workplace. It is recommended that company continue to enhance SWA awareness programs and management support for workers' SWA rights to ensure a safe working environment and achieve zero accidents.
