Abstract
Stroke is a clinical manifestation of brain blood circulation disorder that causes sudden neurological deficits as a result of ischemia or hemorrhagic circulation of the brain's nerves. The research will use Case Control design, an analytical study involving how risk factors are studied using retrospective approaches, in other words the effects are identified at this time, then the risk factors identified existed or occurring in the past. The result of multivariate analysis that there is influence of Physical Activity with stroke (p = 0,000; p <0,05). The analysis results also show the value of RP = 18.830 and statistically significant (95% CI = 3.981-89.072). This means that the risk of stroke is 18,830 times greater in respondents who have mild activity. The results also showed the effect of obesity with stroke (p = 0,000, p <0.05) and obtained RP = 20.895 and statistically significant (95% CI = 4.245-102.856). This means that the risk of stroke is 20,895 times greater in the obese respondents. From the results of the analysis also found that obesity is the variable that most at risk affect the stroke. For Bunda Thamrin Hospital In order to conduct counseling by working with local health centers about stroke risk factors with more intensive through print or audio visual media and health talks in schools, places of worship and other public places. And for the community is expected to reduce unhealthy lifestyle and also do sports for body health at least 3 times and makasimal 5 times a week on different days in turn.
